Hey all! If you arrived here from Stephanie's blog, your on the right track! If not, head over to the Paper Maniac Blog to start at the beginning! All the creations you will be seeing today were inspired by a Beatles song ~ My card was inspired by the song "Her Majesty" this song is only 23 seconds long making it the shortest Beatles song ever recorded.

I really wish you could see this card in real life and it really sparkles! The crown image and sentiment are from the Unity November store kit ~ Believe in Fairytales and the glitter DP is from the Kaisercraft Lilac Ave paper pad. I used nestabilities to cut out the image and the scallop. I finished the card off with some May Arts reversible satin ribbon.

The polka dot DP is from Making Memories and the pink cs is Sweet Blush from PTI. I also used black satin ribbon, petaloo flowers and the Martha Stewart Trellis punch on my card. Paper Maniac Inspirations ~ Image is Everything

Don't you just love when you find an image that becomes all you need to make a card that is simple but still makes a statement? That is why I love Flourishes stamps. The images just speak for themselves and many of them are the perfect size for making great CAS cards. You can find a huge selection of Flourishes stamps at the Paper Maniac online store.

For my card, I used the Flourishes Strawberry Set. I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol and cut it out with the Nestabilities Large Label. I scored lines on the card base and stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black ink.

Reminder ~ The shipping department at Paper Maniac is closed until 1/26...During this time please use the code PATIENT_ME to take 10% off your entire order of $25.00 placed during this period. Nothing excluded. One use per customer.

SSDS Week 24 ~ Think Spring

Hello there...hope you are enjoying your Saturday! We are still working on DD's room so no big plans for the weekend. Hubby is going to a Cav's game tonight and me and the kiddos are going to have pizza and start putting together a new 1000 piece puzzle...Woohoo!!

Anywho, It is time for another awesome challenge from Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturday. This week we want you to Think Spring, you can create anything you want as long as you use a Spring theme for your creation. Our sponsor this week is Revidevi, be sure and stop by her Etsy shop to see all her adorable digi images.

When I think about Spring, the first thing that comes to mind is Spring Showers. So I decided to use this new digital stamp from the Greeting Farm called WS Rain Rain. I printed the image out on white cs and onto Sassafras Lass DP so that I could paper piece her coat, hat and boots. The CS and saddle stitch ribbon are Raspberry Fizz from PTI and the DSP is Sunshine Lollipop from Sassafras Lass. I used pink pearls around the image and for the buttons on her coat. The sentiment is from Scattered Showers by PTI.

U Stole My Heart

TGIF!! I cannot wait for this week to be over. Somehow I have gotten my days and nights all turned around and I am hoping I can get my schedule back on track over the weekend!

Today, The Character Cafe is having a special Valentines release and as soon as I saw this adorable raccoon, I just had to use him! I am working on making these target mailboxes for all the kids in DD's class for their Valentine's Party. I normally wouldn't take on such a large project for so many kids but since this is her last year of elementary school and my last year as a room mom I wanted to do something really special.

I covered the mailbox with Love Bandit DP from Bo Bunny and then I colored Robbie Raccoon with PrismaColor markers and cut him out for the front of the mailbox. I used a white gel pen for the faux stitching around the edge. The sentiment on the flag is from the {ippity} Straight from the Heart set.

You will definitely want to check out the Feature Friday challenge at the Cafe Blog today. It is a 3D challenge and Lauren Meader is this weeks Guest Designer. The DT has come up with some amazing creations using her Cutesy Cover template.

Paper Maniac Inspirations ~ Who needs perked up?

Wow! It is hard to believe that it is already the Monday after New Year's and the kids are back in school today. I loved having the kids home these past two weeks, but I will be so glad to get back on a schedule around here! I knew it was going to be rough getting everybody up and back on schedule today. So, I thought this card using Fueled by Caffeine from Our Craft Lounge would be just perfect!

I stamped the image and sentiment on Select White CS and colored them with PrismaColor Markers. I used circle and oval nestabilities to cut them out. I just love the colors in this designer paper from Cosmo Cricket called Nutmeg and I love how it looks on this card. The CS and satin ribbon are Dark Chocolate from PTI.

I also used this weeks sketch challenge the Get Sketchy Blog for this card.
