SSDS Week 24 ~ Think Spring

Hello there...hope you are enjoying your Saturday! We are still working on DD's room so no big plans for the weekend. Hubby is going to a Cav's game tonight and me and the kiddos are going to have pizza and start putting together a new 1000 piece puzzle...Woohoo!!

Anywho, It is time for another awesome challenge from Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturday. This week we want you to Think Spring, you can create anything you want as long as you use a Spring theme for your creation. Our sponsor this week is Revidevi, be sure and stop by her Etsy shop to see all her adorable digi images.

When I think about Spring, the first thing that comes to mind is Spring Showers. So I decided to use this new digital stamp from the Greeting Farm called WS Rain Rain. I printed the image out on white cs and onto Sassafras Lass DP so that I could paper piece her coat, hat and boots. The CS and saddle stitch ribbon are Raspberry Fizz from PTI and the DSP is Sunshine Lollipop from Sassafras Lass. I used pink pearls around the image and for the buttons on her coat. The sentiment is from Scattered Showers by PTI.

To join in on the fun and be eligible for this weeks fabulous prize and check out all the fabulous creations from the Design Team. Head over to the SSDS blog and link your creation to Mr. Linky by 10:00 pm (EST) Friday evening.

AiFactory #19 ~ Embossing (feat. Ella the Reader)

Hi everyone! This week is just flying by. I can't believe it is Thursday already. It is sooo cold in Ohio this week and I don't think it is ever going to stop snowing! They are forecasting another BIG storm headed our way so I have to run some errands and get groceries today.

We made a few changes at AiFactory for the new year including moving the challenge to Thursdays. We will also be featuring a new release each week along with the challenge. This week we are featuring the adorable Ella the Reader. You can get all the details about this new line of digital stamps at the AiFactory Blog. Here is a pic of the new set being released today at the store.

For a chance to win the new release head over to the AiFactory Challenge Blog. The challenge for this week is to use embossing. You can make anything your heart desires just make sure you use some form of embossing. You do not have to use AiFactory images but if you have them we would love to see them. We also have quite a few Freebies available at the store.

Here is my card for the challenge featuring the adorable Ella. I printed her out on Select White CS and colored her with PrismaColor Markers. The dsp is called Suuny Glen and is from The Greeting Farm. The sentiment is from the Star Prints stamp set at PTI. I used a circle embossing folder on my card base.

SSDS Week 5 ~ What do you want to be?

Hi everyone!! I hope you enjoyed your holiday weekend! My BIL's wedding was this weekend so we had a ton of family visiting from out of town. Everyone is finally headed home, so I am finally able to check my email and get caught up!!
I had thought I set up my card for Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday to auto post, but I guess not! So, here it is (better late than never right? LOL) Any who, this weeks challenge is "What do you want to be when you grow up?" This is a special challenge that allows you to enter your work, your child's (can be niece, nephew, son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter, neighbor's kid, scout troop) work, and/or both.

My card for this challenge was made by me and my nine year old daughter Lexi. She is constantly changing her mind about what she plans to be. When I asked her this week, she said a Cheerleader!! Which was perfect because I could finally use my Cheer Anya from Greeting Farm!! I stamped her and Lexi colored her (except her hair, she said I do hair better LOL), then she picked out the paper. She used the Swiss Dot embossing folder on the blue cs and we put it all together. At the last minute she decided it was missing something and used a gliter pen on her hair, socks, shirt and poms!!

To join in on the fun and be eligible for this weeks fabulous prize. Head over to the SSDS blog and link your creation to Mr. Linky by 10:00 pm (EST) Friday evening.
