SSDS Week 13 ~ Anything but a Card

Happy Halloween!! The weather has been sooo nice this week in Ohio but of course today it is raining! We already had trick-or-treat in our area so at least we won't have to do it in the rain.

This week at Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturday we are doing Anything but a Card (ABC). I made this great little pizza boxes for the kids to give to their teachers for Halloween. I was inspired to make these by my good friend Crystal and you can check out her awesome intructions here.

We do have some sad news this week at SSDS...our dear friends Boni and Cheri have decided to step down. They will be greatly missed and I wish them the best!!

To join in on the fun and be eligible for this weeks fabulous prize and check out all the fabulous creations from the Design Team. Head over to the SSDS blog and link your creation to Mr. Linky by 10:00 pm (EST) Friday evening.

TCC Feature Friday ~ A Witches Brew

Happy Friday all! I am sooo ready for the weekend. I finally finished putting together all the games, crafts and last minute goodies for DD's Halloween party at school today. I am so hoping that after all this work there will be school today, the flu has hit our schools pretty hard and there are ALOT of kids and teachers out sick!

It is Feature Friday at The Character Cafe and Piali has come up with a wicked fun Recipe Challenge. It is called a Witches Brew ~ Using ONLY patterned paper from Halloween packs and glitter make a NON-Halloween card!! I had to really think about this one, but I just love the card I came up with. I used Sk8r Brady to create a Birthday Card. Everytime I see this image I think of my nephew so I am going to save this card for his B-day!

I printed the digi image on Select White CS and colored him with PrismaColor Markers. I used rub-ons to add the stars to the helmet and the "splattered paint" around the image. The DSP is from last years K&Company Halloween Specialty Paper Pack. I also used Splitcoast Sketch Challenge 252 for the layout on this card.

To join in on the fun and be eligible for this weeks fabulous prize and check out all the fabulous creations from the Design Team. Head over to the Cafe Blog and link your creation to Mr. Linky by 10:00pm (EST) Thursday evening.

AiFactory Challenge #6 ~ Masculine Cards

Hi all! I am so excited to be doing my first challenge with the AiFactory Design Team. This is such a super talented group of ladies and I am delighted to be joining them!!

I have to admit though when I saw that the challenge this week was to make masculine cards (w/o any ribbon) I did cringe a little. I always struggle with these cards, constantly adding and taking away. I decided with this card my approach would be less is more LOL!

I just had to use this adorable digi stamp Pirate Ivan for my card. He is just perfect for a little boy's birthday card! I printed him out on Select White CS and colored him with my PrismaColor Markers!
