Outta This World with TCC

Hi all! Wow...what a week!! Sorry I haven't been around much but, I have had two sick kiddos and with this crazy weather in Ohio my internet will just not stay up! Every time it rains, snows or the wind blows my internet goes down. The cable company has been out twice this week and even they can't figure it out!! Very frustrating!

I have been able to do a little creating amidst all this drama so before my internet goes down again I want to share a card I made using Wyatt Wiggie from The Character Cafe. Isn't he just too cute? Wyatt is just one of 4 Wiggies available as a set of 6 images for the price of one!! I have been trying to increase my stash of boy cards so I thought he would be perfect colored in blue and brown. The dsp is called Out of this World from inque boutique. I used my oval nestie to cut out the sentiment and sponged the center with chocolate ink.

Make sure and head over to check out the Feature Friday challenge at the Cafe Blog today. It is a monochromatic color challenge and the DT has come up with some amazing creations to help inspire you!!

TCC Feature Friday ~ Get Sketchy with Fink

Hi all!! Today is Feature Friday at The Character Cafe and my fellow DT member, the super talented Fink, has created this awesome sketch for you to try!

I just love the newly released Wiggies set!! You get SIX images and 2 sentimetnts when your purchase this set ~ Check 'em out here. I printed Waldo Wiggie out on Select White CS and colored him with Prisma pencils and OMS. I used a dauber to add Enchanted Evening ink around the image to look like the night sky and added tiny diamonds for "twinkling stars". The DP and felt embellishment are from inque boutique's Out of this World collection. The sentiment is computer generated.

To join in on the fun and be eligible for this weeks fabulous prize and check out all the fabulous creations from the Design Team. Head over to the Cafe Blog and link your creation to Mr. Linky by 11:59 pm (EST) Thursday evening.

My DD is turning 10 on Thursday and this is the Birthday card I created for her. She is completely obsessed with Peace signs these days so I had to use this adorable stamp from inque that I found in the dollar section at Pat Catan's. I stamped the image with memento ink and colored it with PrismaColor markers and added some stickles for a little bling.

The cardstock is PTI's Berry Sorbet and I found the perfect dsp in a DCWV paper pack called Hippie Chick. I used the dsp for the inside of the card as well. The font for the sentiment and inside message is Digs My Hart.

This card is for a few challenges....

Papertake Weekly ~ Sketch #32
Crazy 4 Challenges ~ C4C19 Birthday
Stampin' Royalty ~ SR#1 Birthday
